American Express – ‘Colors of My Life’ Storyboard

Details

A music-publishing client was looking to exploit their song “Colors of My Life”, written by Cy Coleman and performed by Tony Bennett.  The song seems to speak directly to Tony the artist, not the musician.  Tony’s art is quite amazing and this spot features that side of his work.  While we later shot a spec commercial based on the original treatment (view here), I feel strongly that the original idea tells a compelling and original story about Tony, his art and how they both interact with the American Express brand. ~Richard LaBonté
